Barry Resnick, Partner
Barry Resnick, a Partner at The Resnick Druckman Group, has a major role on the firm's management team. In that capacity, Barry contributes significantly to developing and executing the strategy for the growth and success of the Resnick Druckman Group. Along with his role in creating and implementing the firm's internal processes and procedures, Barry has many client responsibilities as the Partner in Charge of the Closely Held Family Business Practice Group. This group is particularly important because of the firm's major focus on closely-held and family owned companies.
Barry began his career with a large New York accounting firm, and then went on to a smaller firm where he became a partner within a two year period. Over the years, he has developed a strong reputation for working with clients on succession planning, individual and business tax planning and compliance, as well as providing business advice and intelligent solutions that help them realize their goals and dreams.
In 1998, Barry merged his firm with that of his brother, Jeff Resnick. Together they built a new firm, The Resnick Group, developing a practice that flourished under their combined leadership and vision for a firm with a sincere commitment to serving the middle market business community in the New York metropolitan area.
In keeping with their strategy for growth, the Resnick Group then merged with a highly regarded NYC firm, Druckman and Hill, LLP, that had been in existence for over 65 years. The new organization was named The Resnick Druckman Group. The partners of both merged practices shared a desire to perpetuate the strong legacy of both firms.
A native of Brooklyn, Barry moved to Long Island after graduating, where he is very active in the business community and devotes considerable time to nonprofit charitable organizations as well.
