Jan S. Rothman, CPA, has added value for the firm's clients since he first began his career at The Resnick Druckman Group in 1992. He brings strong credentials to his role as Partner, providing accounting, tax and business advisory services to clients in several major industries, such as health care, apparel and textile, and real estate. Jan is a member of the Real Estate Committee of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, he is on the list of individuals eligible to receive a fiduciary appointment as an Accountant in the State of New York Unified Court System, available for appointments in the five counties of New York City, and in Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester Counties.
Jan has previous experience in public accounting and also served as the Chief Financial Officer of a real estate management firm. This special combination of both public and private accounting experience enables Jan to provide practical, meaningful advice for the firm's clients based on his familiarity with the issues they grapple with on a daily basis. He also works with high net worth individuals, assisting with tax strategies and compliance.
Jan also provides the firm with internal support in the information technology area, ensuring that the staff and partners have access to the cutting edge tools and resources that are so important to delivering world class client service.
Jan received his B.S. from Cornell University and his M.S. from Long Island University and is active in alumni and community affairs, currently serving as President of the Cornell University Class of 1971 and as Co-President of the Jewish Center of Island Park.
