Robert R. Gilbert, Partner

Robert Gilbert, CPA, brought more than thirty years of experience in public accounting to the Resnick Druckman Group when he became a Partner as the result of a merger with his firm in December 2009. Early in his career Bob founded his own firm, and then in 1995 he and Herbert Wolff became partners in the New York practice Gilbert & Wolff. Today Bob leverages his extensive tax knowledge in areas that require technical expertise, including representation before various taxing authorities, tax fraud defense, tax audits, tax planning for wealthy individuals, estate and trust administration and tax planning and compliance.

Bob has a strong network of relationships across the New York metropolitan area and is recognized in several industry sectors. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is currently on the state society’s Closely Held and “S” Corp committee and previously sat on their entertainment committee.

A strong proponent for environmental issues, Robert serves on the Environmental Commission of Lake Success where he resides with his family.
