Andrew Martin directs the firm's Real Estate Group, bringing a breadth of credentials and a depth of real world experience to this role.
Having been in the accounting profession since 1987, Andrew applies his expertise in real estate taxation and personal tax planning to help clients effectively leverage tax strategies to achieve their goals.
His career includes positions at both public accounting firms and privately-held companies. As a result of this unique background, Andrew offers clients his insights into what is needed from an outside accountant. He also has as a fresh perspective on what is needed from within on a day-to-day basis when managing the business, management and financial aspects of a company.
Prior to 1998 Andrew held the position of Vice President of Finance for one of New York's premier property management and brokerage companies where he gained the critical experience he regularly draws on for clients.
Andy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants Real Estate Committee, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants Partnership & LLC Committee and a Member of the Board and Treasurer of Pioneers for Animal Welfare Society, Inc. (PAWS).
Andrew graduated from Hofstra University in 1987 with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
